Congress passed the FY22 Omnibus Appropriations Act that finalized FY22 funding levels and ended a series of "Continuing Resolutions" that threatened to stall medical, scientific, and public health progress. The Omnibus appropriations package also funded the creation of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), inaugurating a new era in biomedical research and development.
