Members of Congress will soon return to Washington, D.C. but negotiations between the House, Senate, and Administration on a supplemental spending package are still at an impasse. While there may be agreement on some level of emergency spending, it is likely that only those provisions that all parties view as urgent and essential will be included. It is our job to convince MOCs that at least $26 billion to replenish pandemic-eroded research funding is urgent and essential. As you know, it is. Weigh in now to break the stalemate and convince your representatives in Congress to push for at least $26 billion in funding to restart lifesaving research. Time is of the essence!
