Unanimous Approval for the Parental Bill of Rights

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the Kinnelon Board of Education became the second school district in New Jersey to adopt a Parental Bill of Rights. This policy known as "K–12 Family Partnership, Transparency, and Resource Policy" does not create rights, but simply recognizes and organizes the rights parents already have under existing federal and state law.
