Urge the FDA to Ban the Abortion Death Pill

Abortion numbers in the United States continue to rise, even after the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. This is largely due to the availability of the abortion death pill. The Biden Administration loosened several restrictions on the death pill, ensuring that the abortion cartel could easily send them around the country, especially into states with pro-life laws on the books. Unfortunately, the Trump Administration has kept those Biden policies in place, protecting the abortion cartel at the expense of the preborn.

When it works as intended, the abortion death pill causes harm in 100% of instances with the death of a child. However, this is not the only harm caused by the death pills. A 2025 study from Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC) exposed the dangers to women in addition to the preborn. According to the EPPC study, almost 11% of women suffer from severe medical complications, including sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or other serious adverse event, within 45 days of taking mifepristone to induce an abortion.

On May 14, the U.S. Supreme Court placed a stay on a Fifth Circuit decision that would have reinstated the restrictions on the abortion death pill that the Biden Administration removed. Unfortunately, this means that the Biden policies will remain in effect while the Supreme Court considers the case, likely preserving them for an additional year. The only way the abortion death pill can be stopped at the federal level now is for the Trump FDA to stop protecting the abortion cartel.

It is time for the Trump Administration and the FDA to reverse its pro-abortion policies by banning the dangerous abortion death pill, ensuring that pro-life states like Kentucky can enforce their righteous laws that protect the preborn.
