Urge KY Legislators to Pass Pro-Life Bills & Build a Culture of Life

Ever since the Dobbs decision, which overturned the egregious Roe v. Wade case, Kentucky has protected pre-born children with strong pro-life laws. However, the abortion cartel has pivoted to a new strategy to ensure their business of death can continue—the abortion death pill. Empowered by pro-abortion federal policies, abortionists and their allies from pro-abortion states and foreign countries have flooded pro-life states, including Kentucky, with illegal abortion death pills. Now, we must respond to this newest attack on the preborn.

HB 646 by Rep. Nancy Tate and Rep. TJ Roberts would create new legal avenues to go after the abortion pill traffickers who willfully violate Kentucky law. The bill would make the deadly pill a controlled substance and would create financial penalties for those who break the law. This will strengthen our pro-life laws and create even greater protection for preborn Kentuckians. HB 646 would also create trafficking penalties for those who bring illegal suicide pills into Kentucky.

Additionally, we must also teach the next generation how to create a culture of life in the Commonwealth. HB 359 from Rep. Nancy Tate would require public schools in Kentucky to show a video of the development of a preborn child in the womb. This bill was previously called the Baby Olivia Act (watch the Baby Olivia video here). HB 359 would ensure that Kentucky's kids understand that a preborn child is a human being worthy of the gift of life, just like those outside of the womb. If Kentucky is going to have a long lasting culture of life, its future leaders must be prepared to take up that mantle.

Further, HB 52 from Rep. Shane Baker would require schools to teach the success sequence. The success sequence simply teaches kids that they should graduate high school, gain full-time employment, and get married before having children. This sequence is statistically proven to drastically increase success in life, reducing the likelihood for abortion and strengthening the family unit. Please ask your legislators to support these commonsense pro-life and pro-family bills.
