Petition to Congress: Provide a $200 monthly Social Security Increase for Six months
The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) is calling on Congress to pass the Social Security Emergency Inflation Relief Act, providing Social Security recipients with an additional $200 per month for six months. With the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) failing to keep up with the real inflation seniors face—especially for essentials like food, housing, and healthcare—millions of older Americans are struggling to make ends meet.
Seniors living on fixed incomes can’t afford to fall further behind. Congress must act now to provide direct relief and protect them from continued financial hardship.
