Petition to Congress: Provide a $200 monthly Social Security Increase for Six months

The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) is calling on Congress to take urgent action and provide Social Security recipients with an additional $200 per month for six months. With the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) falling short of the real inflation seniors face—especially on essentials like food, housing, and healthcare—millions of older Americans are struggling to make ends meet.

Seniors living on fixed incomes can’t afford to keep falling behind. That’s why TSCL is urging lawmakers to step up and provide direct relief to help offset the inadequate COLA and protect older Americans from further financial hardship.

The Senior Citizens League will gather online and print petitions to advocate collectively to Congress, pushing them to pass the Social Security Expansion Act.
