House Bill 1957, an overreaching constitutional amendment that would enshrine abortion on demand into Pennsylvania’s Constitution, passed the House by just one vote. It’s a hard lesson in how a single vote can make all the difference. Unfortunately, your State Representative chose ideology over principle, voting YES on this extreme abortion amendment. You deserve an explanation.

And they need to hear from you.

Now is the time to respectfully challenge your legislator on this vote and call on them to do what is right next time. But it must be respectful, or we risk alienating them to our cause!

What Your Message Accomplishes

A calm, direct message today sends a clear signal:

  • You remind your legislator that many voters in this district are pro-life.
  • You register disappointment without hostility, keeping the focus on principle.
  • You ask for accountability, not talking points.
  • You make clear that pro-abortion votes carry political and moral consequences.
  • You reinforce that protecting life is a winning issue, and one that’s dear to your family and many others.

Elected officials must hear, clearly and consistently, from pro-life constituents back home.

Respectful Pressure Works

Legislators expect silence after controversial votes. What they do not expect is respectful, thoughtful pushback from the people they represent.

Take a moment. Send a respectful message and ask them why they voted the way they do.  Express your disappointment. Let’s ask them to explain their vote. And challenge them to stand for life next time.

Your voice today helps shape tomorrow’s decisions.
