Urgent Call to Action: Demand the Removal of Marlboro School Board President and Vice President – Protect Our Conservative Voices, Protect Our Children

In the heart of our safe, family-oriented Marlboro community, a toxic storm has erupted– one that threatens not just one brave woman, wife and mother of three young children, but the very fabric of civility, safety, and democratic integrity we entrust to those who lead our children's education. Danielle Bellomo, a dedicated mother of three and conservative voice fighting for parental rights and transparency, has become the target of vile, life-threatening hatred. And the Board's President and Vice President? They've done nothing. Their inaction isn't negligence – it's complicity.

In early October, screenshots exploded across social media from a despicable private group chat titled "This B*tch Needs to Die." The target? Danielle Bellomo. The perpetrators? A cabal including Democratic candidate Scott Semaya (who slithered out of the race in shame), Mitesh Gandhi (husband of a sitting Board member), and – hold onto your seats – School Board Vice President Chad Hyett himself. These weren't innocent taunts. These were explicit sexual harassment, death wishes and calls for violence against a woman daring to advocate for children.

Bellomo didn't cower. She's endured months of online harassment, secured a protection order against Gandhi, and begged the Board for basic safeguards under Policy 9202 – a protocol explicitly designed to protect members "threatened or placed in harm's way." Police presence at meetings? Denied. Security for her family and children on school grounds? Rejected. And who blocked it? Superintendent Michael Ballone.

President Brian Cohen and Vice President Chad Hyett: Your silence screams volumes. Mayor Jonathan Hornik nailed it: "The content of these messages is completely unacceptable... Violence and threats against public officials are becoming normalized." Even he demands accountability. This isn't leadership; it's cowardice. It's a disgrace to every Marlboro family who sends their kids to school expecting protection, not peril.

Our children watch. They learn from this. If we tolerate threats against a Board member championing their rights, what message do we send when their turn comes to speak up? That hate wins? That bullies rule? Marlboro deserves better. Bellomo is the frontline warrior for all of us against a creeping authoritarianism that silences dissent with digital daggers.

Use our Action Alert form below to send an email to the Marlboro Board of Education, Superintendent Michael Ballone, and Mayor Jonathan Hornick to demand accountability!

Danielle Bellomo stood alone when she could have quit. Now, the NJFPC stands with her. This isn't about party lines; it's about right vs. wrong.
