Join President Trump: Tell Gov. Beshear to Eliminate Gender Ideology from Education Materials!
The Trump Administration has put states, including Kentucky, on notice that they must eliminate gender ideology from their Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) if they seek to retain the federal funding for the program. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released a report on states that demonstrated numerous examples of radical gender ideology in state PREP education programs. 46 states and territories include gender ideology in their programs in violation of the federal statute that authorizes the PREP program. Kentucky is one of those states and is in line to receive $1.4 million from the program. In a letter to the Beshear Administration, HHS outlined the specific content that Kentucky currently includes that violates the federal statute. Specifically, Kentucky currently guides instructors in how to speak to students about sexuality, gender identity, and other radical gender ideology topics. The materials even include a FAQ asking: "Why would someone with a penis not identify as a boy/man? Why would someone with a vulva not identify as a girl/woman?"This is an incredible waste of taxpayer dollars. On this matter, Acting HHS Assistant Secretary Andrew Gradison correctly stated, "Federal funds will not be used to poison the minds of the next generation or advance dangerous ideological agendas." We firmly agree and call on the Beshear Administration to eliminate gender ideology from education programs. Please take a moment to send a message to the Beshear Admin. and the KY Cabinet for Health and Families demanding that they comply with the letter and eliminate all gender ideology from education.Take A Stand and Add Your Name - Tell Gov.
