Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up healthy and whole, not scarred by irreversible medical procedures pushed by ideology and funded with your tax dollars.

That’s why Pennsylvania needs to pass SB 843, the Do No Harm Act.

This commonsense legislation would prohibit puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender transition surgeries on minors. It would also prevent taxpayer dollars from being used for these irreversible interventions.

Your lawmakers need to hear from you now.

Why This Matters

  • Children are being harmed. Minors in Pennsylvania have undergone irreversible surgeries and drug treatments with permanent consequences, including sterilization, sexual dysfunction, cognitive impairment, and emotional trauma.

  • Taxpayers are footing the bill. In recent years, millions of taxpayer dollars have been spent funding these experimental, life-altering procedures on thousands of children in our state.

  • The science doesn’t support it. Every systematic review of the available studies concludes that the evidence base for gender-transition procedures in minors is weak. Critics of laws like SB 843 rely on low-quality, biased studies.

  • Other nations are backing away. Countries like Sweden, Finland, and the UK—once pioneers in so-called “gender-affirming care”—have reversed course due to the lack of evidence and the risks to children.

  • This is not healthcare. This is harm. Removing healthy body parts from children is not backed by science, nor does it recognize the growing voices of detransitioners who regret their irreversible procedures.

  • Children cannot give informed consent. And parents are too often manipulated by emotionally coercive language from ideologically driven doctors.

"It has become increasingly clear in this country and around the world that we should not allow permanent, life-altering decisions that hurt children. This issue is not political. It's not about left versus right - it's about being reasonable versus radical."

-Tennessee Governor Bill Lee
