Bill H.235, titled An Act establishing a bill of rights for children in foster care, claims to protect foster children but contains language that would eviscerate religious liberty for foster families, mandate radical ideology, and harm the very children it claims to protect. It discriminates against faith-based parents willing to help children in need, pressures families to compromise their beliefs, and threatens to worsen the foster care shortage.
To learn more about why we oppose this bill, read our brief HERE.
Email or call your MA legislator and urge them to oppose the LGBT Foster Care Bill to help prevent further harm to our already strained foster care system and ensure that children in crisis can find safe, loving homes with families ready to care for them.
