Protect Kids and Parental Rights!
Parents deserve to know and consent to what their children are being taught about sex in school. Right now, Massachusetts only requires schools to offer an opt-out for sex education, meaning kids are enrolled by default, even in graphic or ideologically driven programs.
H.550 would change that by requiring parental opt-in for all sex education. Schools would need written consent before enrolling a student in any sex education class.
This simple change puts parents back in charge and ensures no child is exposed to sensitive material without explicit parental permission. To learn more about why we support this bill, read our brief HERE.
