Tell Assemblywoman Ramirez to stop attacking pregnancy resource centers!

Assemblywoman Jessica Ramirez (D-Jersey City) wants to make sure it is as difficult as possible for you to save a life in New Jersey. She sponsored Assembly bill 5418 this week targeting pregnancy resource centers in an effort to take away their clients.

Even worse, she misrepresents the medical services provided by numerous pregnancy resource centers in our state, which employ licensed ultrasound technicians and certified RNs, with a medical board or physician overseeing the operations.

“Crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) are non-medical facilities that
bully pregnant people into not having an abortion
and provide misinformation about abortion, birth control, and sexually transmitted infections – while posing as a legitimate and licensed healthcare center.”
