Encourage KY Legislators to Ban Harmful DEI

UPDATE: HB 4 passed the House and Senate Committee. It now awaits a vote from the full Senate.

In recent years, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies have exploded in popularity in colleges and universities, K-12 school, and even state and local governments. While supporters try to claim these policies promote equality, DEI actually supports discriminatory concepts, such as critical race theory (CRT) and woke LGBT ideology. Additionally, DEI does not make individuals more tolerant. Rather, it creates hostility between individuals based on their religion, race, sex, color, or national origin. Taxpayers should not be forced to fund failed, harmful DEI, and the General Assembly must put an end to it in Kentucky!

Rep. Jennifer Decker has introduced HB 4, which would ban DEI in Kentucky's public colleges and universities. Additionally, Sen. Lindsey Tichenor has introduced SB 165, which would ban DEI in K-12 public schools. Sen. Tichenor also introduced SB 164 to ban DEI programs in state and local governments.

Please take action today to encourage the General Assembly to ban harmful DEI policies in all government institutions.
