Urge the KY General Assembly to Oppose Casino Gambling

Rep. Thomas Huff has introduced HB 33, which would legalize casino gambling in Kentucky. This newest gambling expansion effort comes only 2 years after the General Assembly legalized sports betting in Kentucky. Legalized sports betting has caused an explosion in calls to the gambling addiction hotline. The last thing Kentucky needs is another expanded gambling problem.

Casino gambling only helps predatory out-of-state gambling giants at the expense of vulnerable Kentuckians and their families. The General Assembly should be protecting Kentuckians from harms, not attempting to profit off of dangerous vices. Please urge the General Assembly to reject HB 33 and any other efforts to expand gambling in Kentucky.
