It's Now or Never: KOSA to be Marked Up by the House Energy & Commerce Committee Tomorrow!

The Kids Online Safety Act will be marked up by the House Energy and Commerce Committee tomorrow. This is a vital step towards pushing KOSA to the House Floor, and to be signed into law in this Congress. After years of tireless advocacy by parents of children harmed by social media and advocates, KOSA is the first meaningful online child protection bill Congress has considered in nearly 25 years!

Now, we must keep the momentum going. The Kids Online Safety Act (H.R. 7891) has 46 bipartisan cosponsors in the House, but we need to urge the House Energy and Commerce Committee to approve KOSA and pass it to the full House of Representatives. We need more cosponsors, and we need support from House leadership!

Your Representatives need to hear that kids and families can’t wait. Please tell them to cosponsor the Kids Online Safety act by calling their office, and taking action below.

Dear Representative [First Name, Last Name],

I am a constituent in your state, and I am writing to make sure you are aware that the House Energy & Commerce Committee will mark up the Kids Online Safety Act (H.R. 7891) tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM EST.  KOSA is the most comprehensive child protection bill pending in Congress today.

It's now or never. America's children need you to urge the House Energy & Commerce Committee to mark up KOSA tomorrow morning. Please cosponsor and support the Kids Online Safety Act.

There is irrefutable evidence that Big Tech is endangering America’s youth. Online safety is impossible without Congress’s intervention. Our children cannot wait one more day, let alone one more congressional session, to be protected online.

KOSA empowers minors and their parents to stop children from being exposed to these dangers online.

KOSA has widespread national support, with over 200 national, state, and local organizations supporting the Kids Online Safety Act, and the bill already has 46 Bipartisan House Cosponsors. The time is now: Congress must pass KOSA to protect our youth. There are no more excuses.

Please join us to be a champion for America’s Youth. Please cosponsor this legislation, and urge House Leadership to pass the Kids Online Safety Act so that it may be signed into law.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
