KOSA Marked Up by House Energy & Commerce! Keep the momentum going in the House: Tell your Representatives to #PASS KOSA.

The Kids Online Safety Act passed the Senate 91-3! After years of tireless advocacy by parents of children harmed by social media and advocates, KOSA is the first meaningful online child protection bill Congress has considered in nearly 25 years!

Now, the Kids Online Safety Act has been reported to the House of Representatives by the House Energy & Commerce Committee, but we must keep the momentum going through the House. The Kids Online Safety Act (H.R. 7891) has 60 bipartisan cosponsors in the House, but we need more and we need support from House leadership!

Your Representatives need to hear that kids and families can’t wait. Please tell them to cosponsor the Kids Online Safety act by calling their office, and taking action below.

Dear Representative [First name, Last name],

I am a constituent in your state, and I am writing to make sure you are aware that the Senate PASSED the the Kids Online Safety Act (S.1409) with 91 Senators voting in favor. This legislation has been marked up by the House Energy & Commerce Committee, and is ready to go to the floor. KOSA is the most comprehensive child protection bill pending in Congress today. America's children need you to cosponsor and support the Kids Online Safety Act!

There is irrefutable evidence that Big Tech is endangering America’s youth. Online safety is impossible without Congress’s intervention. Our children cannot wait one more day, let alone one more congressional session, to be protected online.

KOSA empowers minors and their parents to stop children from being exposed to these dangers online.

KOSA has widespread national support, with over 200 national, state, and local organizations supporting the Kids Online Safety Act. The time is now: Congress must pass KOSA to protect our youth. There are no more excuses.

Please join us to be a champion for America’s Youth. Please cosponsor this important bill, and urge Speaker Johnson and Leader Scalise to bring KOSA to the House Floor.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
