Leader Schumer is FINALLY Bringing KOSA to the Senate floor for a vote this week. Tell your Senators: The Senate Must #PASS KOSA.

This morning, Leader Schumer announced that he will bring the Kids Online Safety Act (S.1409)  to the Senate floor for a vote this week! After years of tireless advocacy by parents of children harmed by social media and advocates across the nation, KOSA currently has 69 bipartisan Senate cosponsors – enough support to pass. We must continue the momentum to ensure that KOSA passes the Senate when it comes up for a vote!

S.1409, the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA), provides the most comprehensive solution of any bill pending before the 118th Congress. The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) changes social media platforms’ focus from a duty of profit— exploiting children’s developmental vulnerabilities—to a duty of care, protecting children’s safety and wellbeing. Children cannot wait one more day, let alone one more congressional session, for the essential protections that KOSA provides online.

The time is now. Your Senators need to hear that they cannot wait any longer to #PASSKOSA. Please tell them to vote YES on the Kids Online Safety act by calling their office, and taking action below.

Dear Senator [First name, Last name],

I am a constituent in your state, and I am writing to make sure you are aware that Leader Schumer has announced that the Kids Online Safety Act (S.1409) will come to the floor for a vote this week. KOSA provides essential protections for children on social media platforms. America's children need you to vote YES on the Kids Online Safety Act when it comes up for a vote this week.

There is irrefutable evidence that Big Tech is endangering America’s youth. Online safety is impossible without Congress’s intervention. Our children cannot wait one more day, let alone one more congressional session, to be protected online.

KOSA empowers minors and their parents to stop children from being exposed to these dangers online.

KOSA has widespread national support, with over 200 national, state, and local organizations supporting the Kids Online Safety Act, and the bill has 69 Senate Cosponsors. The time is now: Congress must pass KOSA to protect our youth. There are no more excuses.

Please join us to be a champion for America’s Youth. Please pass KOSA through the Senate when it comes up for a vote this week.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
