The Prohibiting Threatened and Endangered Creature Trophies Act (ProTECT Act) would prohibit the import of trophies belonging to endangered or threatened species listed under the Endangered Species Act and ban the killing of a listed species for a trophy within the United States at canned hunting operations often referred to as “shooting preserves” or “game ranches.”
