One major theme rising to the surface of Indiana's 2024 legislative session is that we need real reform in our education system – from K-5 to college.

House Bill 1137, introduced by Rep. Kendell Culp, is a promising bill that would require principals at public schools to allow students to attend religious classes during the school day, provided the classes are off school property, privately funded, and parent permitted. This concept is protected by a 1952 US Supreme Court ruling but was never brought to fruition in Indiana law. We believe HB 1137 would revolutionize Indiana schools for the better and positively impact countless lives.

To this end, IFI is partnering with LifeWise Academy to encourage as many public schools as possible to have access to this Bible education program during school hours. Imagine every one of the one million public school students in Indiana having the opportunity to learn the Word of God as part of their school day. Imagine how different this nation would look if we were able to invest the gospel into the hearts of the next generation.

If you support this concept, please click below to email your senator today to encourage their continued support of HB 1137 and LifeWise Academy.
