Remind Your State Lawmakers: No More Gosnells
Pennsylvania’s largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood, and several pro-abortion Democrat State Representatives recently announced their intention to remove the health and safety regulations placed on abortion clinics after the uncovering of abortionist Kermit Gosnell and his ‘House of Horrors’ licensed facility in West Philadelphia.
Kermit Gosnell purposefully delivered countless viable babies, only to kill them in a process he called ‘snipping.’ He is also responsible for the death of at least two women through botched abortions. The FBI agents who raided his clinic - for illegal drug activity, not his abortion practice - were left in disbelief at what they witnessed.
A grand jury, with diverse opinions on abortion, released an extensive report with policy recommendations to ensure what happened with Gosnell never happens again in Pennsylvania. As a result, in 2011, Act 122 passed, which holds abortion clinics to the same standards as other outpatient surgical facilities (called “ambulatory surgical centers”).
Just over a decade later, these safety regulations are the same ones that some pro-abortion state lawmakers are trying to remove.
We need you to tell your State Representative and State Senator to protect women and babies in Pennsylvania through preserving the safety standards applied after Gosnell. We must not allow history to repeat itself. No more Gosnells.
