Action Alert: Ask Your Legislator to Oppose Amendment to Enshrine Late-Term Abortion in PA Constitution

Our current Pennsylvania law allows elective abortions up to six months, which is extreme. But that’s not extreme enough for pro-abortion activists. A new bill, House Bill 1888, would create an unlimited right to elective abortions in the Pennsylvania Constitution all the way until birth. This bill would be devastating for women’s health and preborn life.

If that’s not bad enough, it would be used to overturn pro-life protection we currently have in our state laws, including:

  • parental consent,
  • 24-hour waiting period,
  • Preventing taxpayer funding of abortion,
  • clinic safety regulations passed in the wake of Kermit Gosnell, and

This legislation is extreme and would make our abortion laws on par with states like California or New York, allowing abortions up till birth without limits.

Take Action below and ask your legislation to vote NO on HB 1888.
