Congress is in the process of setting Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) funding levels. Senators Roger Wicker (R-MS) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) are circulating a “Dear Colleague” (request from one Member to another) asking Senators to sign onto a letter to appropriators supporting robust funding in FY26 for the Department of Defense (DoD) Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) accounts. The letter places special emphasis on the importance of funding for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). Ask your Senator to add their name to this letter in a show of support for DOD-funded R&D and the CDMRP!
